The commencement of e-Passport services, originally scheduled for 20 July 2026, has been deferred until further notice due to technical and administrative constraints. Consequently, the acceptance and processing of new e-Passport applications are temporarily suspended.

Existing Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) services remain fully operational. Applicants can continue to submit MRP applications and renewals under the current guidelines.

The Consulate appreciates your patience and cooperation during this time. A revised launch date for e-Passport services will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
